Backyard Mission Trip Red

For the the first time ever, Waters Edge Church is hosting a Backyard Mission Trip

May 6-10

Have you ever wanted to go on a mission trip but it was too expensive?
Have you ever thought "I love missions, but what about people in our own backyard?"
Do you want to make an eternal impact on our local community?
Do you have a heart for reaching people?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this is for you!

Listen, we know costs are rising, that's why you'll stay in your own bed every night, eat your own food for breakfast, and pack a lunch most days rather than having to pay for a hotel and catering for a destination mission trip.

Unlike Care Week, participants who sign up are committing to serve for the entire week and take a deeper dive into the world of Outreach with Waters Edge.

All week, participants will get the chance to

  • Work alongside and learn about non-profit organizations that Waters Edge partners with like Thrive Peninsula, Peninsula Rescue Mission, Grove Christian Outreach Center, and We Are The Echo

  • Work on projects alongside a team of Waters Edge Volunteers

  • Complete construction projects with a skilled Team Leader for people who are unable to help themselves (no experience or skills required)

  • Be a part of something bigger than yourself

Trip Cost: $125, covers supplies for projects, 5 meals, team t-shirt
