The purpose and vision of Waters Edge Church are accomplished by creating environments where people can connect with God and with others.  Based on the model of North Point Community Church, Waters Edge emphasizes three primary environments:

The Foyer: foy•er (foi’ er, foi ya’) n. an entry. - It’s the place in your home that serves as the welcome area for guests and new friends. It’s the first step, and it’s often your only chance to make your guests feel comfortable enough to return. Our Sunday worship services are our primary “foyer” environments.  These environments are the perfect place to introduce guests to the life of Waters Edge Church. So, come on in…

The Living Room: liv•ing room (liv’ing room) n. - A room in a home, with sofas, chairs, etc., for social activities, entertaining guests, etc. - Once your guests arrive and are welcomed into your home, you invite them into the living room. This is where you connect with people like yourself. At Waters Edge Church, our House Parties are designed to help you meet new friends and reconnect with old ones…all in a casual, fun environment.

The Kitchen: kitch•en (kich’en) n. - A room or place for the preparation and cooking of food. — OK, so Webster’s doesn’t help us much here, but think about it: What’s the most popular room in your house? Where do you end up when your family comes over? That’s right. The kitchen. And that’s the kind of environment we create in our community groups. These groups consist of ten to fourteen individuals who meet regularly for Bible study and prayer and commit to accountability, friendship and support.
