Williamsburg Groups Coordinator

Waters Edge Church is currently looking for a new part-time volunteer staff member to join our Williamsburg Campus Staff Team in the position of Groups Coordinator. The Groups Coordinator supports the Campus Pastor by leading existing group leaders, and identifying and training new group leaders. Position Expectations: You Will Be…

  • Attending the weekly Campus Staff meeting to give input and updates regarding campus groups.

  • Attending monthly All Staff meetings whenever possible.

  • Participating in Leadership advances.

  • Identifying new group leaders and execute training of all new group leaders.

  • Identifying, developing, and leading Group Coaches to ensure group leaders are supported, communicated with, and cared for.

  • Championing groups in the lobby, staffing group launches, and other special events to help get people connected to a group.

  • Monitoring overall group health and report any concerns or challenges to the Campus Pastor for follow-up.

  • Ensuring that open groups are always available online.

  • Following-up to ensure prospects have been contacted and provided with steps to join a group.

  • Following-up with group leaders regarding attendance, health of the group, and strength of the group leader.

  • Providing feedback to Central regarding strategy ideas or needs.

  • Monitoring group metrics for your campus.
