YORKTOWN Pastoral Care Coordinator

Waters Edge Church is currently looking for a part-time, volunteer staff member to join our Yorktown team in the position of Pastoral Care Coordinator. Position Expectations: You Will Be…

  • Attending weekly Campus Staff meeting to give input and updates regarding Pastoral Care.

  • Capturing notes regarding care and follow-up with assignments from each Campus Staff meeting.

  • Participating in Leadership Advances.

  • Communicating with appropriate campus staff when a pastoral care need arises from someone in a group or on a team.

  • Assisting the Campus Pastor with meetings, classes, weddings, funerals and other life events such as home/hospital visitations or visits to shut-ins as needed or requested.

  • Overseeing the benevolent ministry of the campus, providing training, budget management, policy guidance and communication.

  • Overseeing, recruiting and training mentors and connecting others to mentoring.

  • Promote and support the vision of Waters Edge and champion leadership development.

  • Available to assist with other solutions as needed regarding pastoral care.

  • Championing next steps and recruiting others to be a vital part of the pastoral care team.
